The Carter Lake Public Works Department maintains the streets and other public property areas of the city, as well as maintaining the sewers and water mains within the City. Water and sewer billing for the city is being processed by PeopleServices, Inc. but the Public Works Department assists in water turn off or water turn on and some repair or replacement of water meters.

If you have problems or concerns about streets, water or sewer problems, call the Supervisor. If it is after hours and an emergency such as a water break or sewer-backup, call 911.
